Gold Recovery with Centrifugal Gravity Concentrator

Gold Recovery with Centrifugal Gravity Concentrator

Here is how a gravity gold concentrator (centrifuge) works as a separator:centrifugal gravity concentrator & falcon concentrator principle working

  1. Make sure the concentrator has been correctly assembled and that all bolts have been tightened.
  2. If required, attach a funnel to the material feed inlet.
  3. If necessary, connect a hose to the tailings outlet.
  4. Place the concentrator on a raised structure such as blocks.
  5. Place a receptacle under the barrel to collect the concentrate.
  6. Make sure the water and electricity are properly connected.
  7. Make sure the bowl inside the concentrator can spin freely

gold_concentrator_valve
Open the process water valve so that the pressure is within the operating range (70-120 kPa / 10-17 psi).
gold_concentrator_start Press the “run” button. The bowl will start spinning
gold_concentrator_speed_adjustment Press the “increase speed” button until the display shows 45 Hz
concentrator_feed Feed slurry into the concentrator. The particles must be smaller than 2 mm
gold_stop  After about 30-60 minutes, stop feeding slurry into the concentrator.
concentrator_water Reduce the process water pressure.
2 Press the “decrease speed” button until the display shows 5 Hz.
wash_gold Open the rinse water valve and use the rinse hose to wash all the concentrate from the bowl.
gold_pan Collect the concentrate from the receptacle for further processing
gold_feed Close the rinse valve and open the process water valve (70-120 kPa / 10-17 psi). Then repeat Step 5 to Step 10.
