Need more details: what is it you are trying to do - write a thesis on sampling?

There are many mining people in Germiston, you might call SGS South Africa and ask someone for some help.  They have good metallurgists there.

Like Todd H said, you need to be more specific.

Start off by deciding what your project is about.

Then read up on similiar projects to understand what you expect to achieve with this project.

Once you have this information, you draw up your proposal, which include the abstract, introduction, methodology, etc. Just to name a few.

Hope this helps.
