Hello,
I need some advices about usage of the cone crusher Metso GP200 with shorthead cone.

In prospectus is written that it can work without high level of material in crushing space. Is it true?
Crusher will be work in the close cycle with screen, producing class of 0-20 mm on quartzites. Whether the bunker and a regulated feeder or rather ordinary non-regulated conveyor is necessary?

I know about some problems without regulated feeder, such as irregular wear of mantle on another type of cone crushers, but want to know about this type of cone crushers.

As the designation implies this crusher is a tertiary stage cone crusher of 1000 mm mantle diameter powered by a 132-160 KW motor.

If this machine is operated as a secondary crusher in a plant, and the feed gradation is coarse to very coarse, it may not be possible to choke feed. In this case it will work satisfactorily within its rated power with work hardened manganese liners. This machine is preferably operated as a tertiary unit in closed circuit with a high level of material in the crushing chamber (choke fed). If not it would create uneven wear on the liners and the output quality would be inconsistent in shape. You could consider providing a pan feeder below the feed hopper to regulate the feed rate to the crusher. The feed material should be free from 0-5 mm fractions and organic material.

thanks for everything! thanks a lot for response. i was searching for this online but i couldn't find an answer anywhere but here. already started to have headaches that i even used a tramadol for it...
