Hi guys, I want to ask how to size a rotary vibrating screen with single layer and 2 outlets. I want to use the screen to separate course ash and fine ash (under 150 micrometer). I got the mass flowrate of input and output but I don't know how to start sizing the rotary vibrating screen? Can I ask for a procedure of sizing the screen or the starting point? Thank you so much.

All vibrating screens, rotary and horizontal are sized by the area needed to seperte the coarse particles from the fine. This is based on the total amount of material, the amount of material near the separation size, and the actual size of the separtion. Rotary vibrating screens are usually used when the total amount of material being screened is relatively small, and floor space is critical. For a start see: https://www.smartdogmining.com/notebook/default.html
and look at General Process Information see Vibrating Screens and Sizing Vibrating Screens

Thank you so much for your help SmartDog. I already read your materials and sized my rotary vibrating screen. Currently, I am working on a P&ID diagram drawing to control my rotary vibrating screen operation. I would like to ask if do you have any documents about the P&ID of rotary vibrating screen? as I have not found one for rotary vibrating screen. Thank you so much for that.

Kiko.
