Hi .. Looking for best method to seperate hammer milled solar cells ( polycrystaline silicon)  .. 7% AL content 1.6-2.7% silver and balance silicon.

I have them in chip form less than 3cm and some 100 mesh screened as result of running them thru a small mill.  I am trying to choose between floatation / air classification/ or chemical method or any other practical means to seperate this material.. I prefer to stay away from chemicals as much as possible

I have approx 15,000lbs of material and this is a 1 shot deal so I dont want to invest a ton of money into it ...

I appreciate any advice you can offer ...

Not aware of physical method, only of chemical processing to recover your Al and Ag. You would need two steps, one caustic and one cyanide. Testing would be required. You may need more feed to make money out of this - the paper attached explains why, even though on a different PV panel scrap.
