Hi everyone!

Do you know anything about coal sampling devices?

This sampler contains a horizontal shaft hammer mill. But is it possible to change it to a vertical shaft hammer mill (0,5 meters rotor diameter and 0,1 meters rotor thickness)? Where to put the crusher engine in that case? A simple drawing would help me a lot.

The coal sampling device described in the patent is a mobile apparatus suspended by a boom designed   to collect coal from an open container (e.g., trucks, bins). The coal sample is divided into several fractions, and a small fraction is crushed, and split to get a representative sample for coal analysis. The patented device is based on an auger, which is used as a sampling device.
