When a gyratory crusher's mantle is replaced, how does the operator know that the correct product size is being achieved at start-up? How does one Evaluate or Estimate to best control a Crusher Product Size ?
Last replied to by Proman
There are two parameters used to determine the size of a primary crusher product, namely the size of the feed and the tons per hour capacity.

Anyone have a PSD predictive tool to predict expected product PSDs from double-roller crushers, Jaw and Gyratory crushers if you entered the input PSD ranges. Are there ways to manipulate these crushers' PSDs without replacing the crusher.

There is transfer functions that can describe the crusher feed to product, and can be related to gap and throw. I co-wrote a paper for the IRR 3rd Annual Crushing & Grinding Conference 2001, that show...

For Metso GP series crushers at different CSS, the product passing through css is 70% and maximum product siz is about 2 times the css. But normally, that is for medim hard ore like limestone. For oth...
