What cubic foot per minute vacuum pump is needed to deaerate a 10 cubic foot tank to 20 inches of Hg with a flow rate of 50 gallons per minute.

The vacuum pump efficiency is influenced by the temperature, altitude and level of oxygen dissolved in the cyanide solution. I can suggest two options, 5 to 6 CFM at 112 Torr (4.4 inches of Hg) and 30 to 35 at 508 Torr (20 inches of Hg)
