What is the percent of water we can recover from iron ore tailing dam. What are the losses we need to consider from tailing dam.

Water recover from a tailings system is dependent on the characteristics of the material.  If the tails are low in clay and fines perhaps 50%, if the tails have a high amount of fines and clay 10% recover might be good.  Then you need to consider the environmental conditions and soilconditions under the pond.  High evaporation rates and highly porus soils (without a liner) can reduce these amounts significantly.
