Do you know an effective solution for thickening of high clay content ore? Most deposits have a considerable amount of clay minerals. Clay minerals even in small amount cause difficult dewatering. Do you know a practical solution for thickening of high clay content ore? Thickening of high clay content ore?

Colloidal clays can be very difficult to flocculate and thicken due to the very high surface charges on the clay particles. Try pre-dosing with either an inorganic coagulant (calcium, iron, magnesium or aluminium salt) or an organic coagulant like poyDADMAC or polyamine.
