Hello,

Please, I need the help about the process of using hydro-sizers/aquasizers (upward water stream classification), and how the upward water stream affect the U/F PSD. Hydro-sizers are vertical and I saw them, but aquasizer looks like thickener, both machines are working in the same way. Any advantages and disadvantages would be very appreciable.

They both work on the same principle of elutriation, upward velocity of water overcomes the gravity pulling particles down.  The higher the flow the coarser the U/F.  There are limits of course.
