Hello Everyone,

We are looking into purchasing a Gold Flotation Plant (it'll have a jaw crusher, impact crusher, ball mill, knelson concentrator and denver flotation cell). My question is, what are the next steps after scraping off the froth or foam from the flotation process? Do we need additional equipment to process the froth gold (such as smelting), or can it be sold as is?

Thank you!

Simple answer: yes, either one. First you need a way to dewater/dry the froth.  Usually using a thickener and filter arrangement,  Then you can either sell the concentrate or process it your self.

Hi, I am trying to help one of my clients- a gold company to use guar gum as froth flotation reagent. It is an effective depressant for talc but it is also depressing pyrite. My client wishes to collect pyrite and not depress. Is there a way out? Can anyone advise me on this?
