Hello PM,

gypsum flotation is very similar to calcium carbonate flotation but depends as well on the morphology of the material, whether it is scale like or crystal like. The general flotation of gypsum is with fatty acid type collectors with a weak frother added to help the froth be a little more stable. I would recommend Flottec 160-05 as the frother and and a fatty acid like Flottec X200-12, a low rosin low titre Tall Oil Fatty Acid.
