seeking solution to separate dolomitic content from Attapulgite through dry beneficiation technique . 

Input attapulgite :

Dolomitic content 35-40%

Final product should have dolomitic content < 5% .

Is it possible through dry processing ?

Have you tried triboelectric separation? There is some commercial work being done using that type of dry technique. Here are some papers on the technology https://steqtech.com/white-papers/

Thank Andre . Yes but it is not cost effective to do electrostatic separation of a low value clay .. Equipment itself is very costly .

If you observe differential comminution (crushing, grinding) it might be possible to remove the contaminant through screening or classification.
