I have knelson concentrate that capture free gold and same concentrate is upgrade into shacking table sometimes ready for Acacia process (Leaching and Electrowinning). Recently i got little bit high copper value of copper. Resuts are 1000 ppm of Au and 8% of Cu, is there any method i can use to reduce copper content prior to send Concentrate to the leaching process because sending this direct to leaching gold extractor will be poor or usage of cyanide will be more.

How can i reduce copper content prior sending Conc to leaching?

If it is native copper, maybe acid leach it first.

Agreed if native, sulfuric +aeration easily dissolves copper. No mention of plant capacity. If you go this route you may have to crystalize hydrated copper sulfate. (Hexahydrate)

Hello,

Base from my experience, after you've concentrate the gold even copper ore, try to leach it with water + sulfuric acid. For 8 hours. Sulfuric will dissolve copper.
