The video shows one that was shown last year at electra mining. It gives some idea on how it works

I just wonder how this can be applied to different mineral ores? What is the discriminatory edge with this method? Meaning how different must the density of materials be to separate them.

"Separations of around 1.0 specific gravity difference are possible" Meaning rock material 3 cm3 may be separated from 4cm3 or higher ore material.

Rock of 3.0 g/cc can be separated from rock of 2.0 g/cc. Separating 3 cm2 rock from 4 cm2 rock would be a classification process using screens not spirals.
