Hi DIMAY

If you could provide ore information it would be useful.  I'm assuming you don't have a cumulative kW recorder in your control system?  If not, you could do the following:

kWh = Amps x Volts x sqrt(2) x power factor/1000

If you don't record cumulative amps and volts you can just take hourly averages and then average this for 24 hrs.  If you do have cumulative amps and volts you need to divide the number in the above equation by daily run time.  Ask your electrician what the power factor is for your gen sets.  I use this approach in small plants when I do mill optimisation consulting in situations where a cumulative kWh reading is not available.

Hope this helps.

Your equation should probably use sqrt(3) for three-phase power. Sqrt-two would be for two-phase power. There should also be a term for the motor efficiency because motor output is what's important, not motor input.

kWh = Amps × Volts × sqrt(3) × Motor.Eff × Pwr.Fact ÷ 1000

Is it the gross power or the net power drawn by the charge
