We are adding a new line of Iron concentration in our plant. And now I want to sizing a hydrocyclone so I need to know circulating load. How can I calculate the best circulating load for this circuit?

Thank you for your help

Circulating load (theoretical) is usually based on the grinding efficiency of the mills and the separating efficiency of the cyclones, while achieving the desired cyclone o'flow size range.  For this you need to simulate the grinding and the cyclone separation.  There are software packages for doing this (see Metsim and others) but they are pricey.  Alternatively you can achieve similar results using a spreadsheet program and mill and cyclone performance calculations.

I have some of these on my web site (www.smartdogmining.com) as does David on this site.
