Hi everyone, I want to determine the size of steel ball, according to the equation of Bond and the equation work index: W=WI* (10/√P80 -10/√F80), for calculating Wi,  I need to konw the W(work input,kwh/metric ton), so how can I obtain the work input ?  my grinder see the photo, constant speed.

thank you

Hi, thanks for these information, but according to these information, but It seems impossible to calculate the W(energy input). I want to calculate like : Work Input (Energy input): W= (1800 kw)/ 300 t/h=6.0 kwh/t, instead of charge volume.

Your original question was entitled: How to select ball size, which Jorge answered if instead you are looking for the required energy input see: SDM Ball Mill Calculations here: https://www.smartdogmining.com/software/default.html
