Does anyone know about determining the breakage function of SAG Mill using JKMRC method and determining the b(i,j) for all sizes.

You did not say why you need the breakage function. If you are optimizing an existing SAG mill the JKMRC people will help you with your question. If however you are designing a new SAG mill, the direct measurement of required SAG pinion energy using the SAGDesign test on your selected samples will give you better information and will lead to a more effective SAG mill design.

I think, by a few software like BFDS or NGOTC (breakage function distribution software) and by laboratory tests u can measure SAG mill Bf and selection function. If you want to simulate grinding process in a Sag mill by DEM I suppose comminution engineers in JK can help you. Nowadays i am presenting about Ball mill simulation as a workshop at Sarcheshmeh Concentrator, Kerman, Iran. In addition in "Mineral Comminution Circuits-their operation and Optimization" book which is published by JKMRC u can find impotent keywords.

If you want to determine your breakage and selection function for any current operation you can use our Moly-Cop Tools SAG Model, we have an Excel routine to get your parameters, then you can use this parameters for performing simulations in your SAG Mill.
