Hello Friends, some one help me the way to obtain the tonnage of round vat tank;

As i know;

Vol. = (pi*D²*Height)/4

To obtain mass , i use

Density = mass/volume

Now; if this formula is correct, what is the density of raw ore?

Else; if it`s not correct which formula is applicable.

Thanks in advance!

This is dpendent on the ore yoou have.  Also you need to factor in the effect of mining and crushing.  A good place to start is:   Introduction to Earthmoving  https://www.smartdogmining.com/notebook/Eratn%20Move%20Intro.html

The Formula is correct

From there find the bulk density of your ore by filling in a known volume the ore without compaction then measure the weight of the ore

How can I achieve this?
