Are coarse bottle roll tests a good way of simulating column leach tests? Do they tend to get the same gold recoveries?

Because column tests a lengthy and costly, you minimize your risk/cost before jumping in.

The coarse bottle roll test is just a leach response test. If you get nothing with a coarse bottle roll test, you abort and forget about the column test (which is even coarser).

If coarse bottle roll tests give you "good results", you go ahead with column tests.

Column leach is a heap leach simulator.
