We had cyanide spill on the ground soil containing free cyanide of 10ppm. Could you help me what type of chemical do i have to use e.g hypochlorde..or any other chemical to kill the cyanide, excavation is impossible.

If up were to "wash away" the spill with water, would you be able to recover the seepage water?

Here are 2 papers you need to read to better understand your options. It offers cyanide treatment & destruction methods similar to those used in heap leaching.

Maybe you could have a generous slightly acidic pH 6 water OR a 3-5% hydrogen peroxide spill over now.

After the pH 6 water spill, have a pH 9 water spill a few days later.

Pick your poison.

Ferrous sulphate is often used for cyanide spills.
