pleasei have a gold ore that has a high copper content 1.52%, Sulphur of 0.12percent, silver of around 102grams per ton, how do I go about recovering the gold in the ore. I tried panning but it was not effective.

What have you tried?  At that copper grade it is a copper ore and you could make a copper flotation concentrate to capture the majority of the copper and gold.  The copper concentrate can be sold directly to a smelter who will pay you for teh copper and gold with some deduction. If there is remaining gold in the tails you could leach it with cyanide.  Test work is the key to knowledge.

I think, you consider some additional information. For example, sequential copper analysis to estimate the presence of non-sulphide copper minerals and sulphide copper minerals. A mineralogy study is other good source of information, especially to know the presence of native gold and gold bearing minerals. The same idea is valid for silver. Try to check the Sulphur content.
