For a resin-in-leach gold application, is there that if you overdose kerosene addition, you will blind the resin?

I think you should not add kerosene in a resin adsorption circuit. Kerosene was evaluated with activated carbon, and there not big  problems. It is important to know the mineralogy to know the presence of contaminants.

In the project I am looking at, kerosene is added upfront ahead of RIL with good gold recoveries.

Unlikely you will blind the resin.
