Hello dear metallurgists!

I will be gratefull if you help please, to find how to optimize the consumption of reagents such as water, cyanide, soda cautic and leach aid in a plan of intensive leach with a tonnage of 12 tons of concentrates.

Thank you

Lesses your water but add some air blower to the leach to help bring some dissolve oxygen to the solution.  It will help you to alittle to decrease your cyanide and caustic soda consumption.

Alright!
But I already put the Leach aid reagent. So no problem will be cause by the fact of putting oxygen?

Good day, What type of Leach aid are you currently using? Leach aid is actually a replacement for oxygen.

Hi HKen Erno,  Can you tell me about the ILR equipment you are working with.  The ILR supplied by Gekko does not require Leach Aid.

Is this a gravity or flotation concentrate?

Here are some guideline numbers:

  • Water - 10-35 m3/batch - dependant upon wash requirements if you are using the ILR sizing we recommend for this throughput.
  • Cyanide - NaCN - 20 kg/t - but can vary 15-30 kg/t but this is a starting point
  • Caustic - usually 1 g/t but this is ore dependant
  • Leach Aid - the ILR by Gekko does not require leach aid.
  • Peroxide - at higher elevations and if the client prefers we can replace the oxygen with peroxide.
