Hi my name is Jaime

I'm trying to Learn modelling. I would like to model the moving the solution leach in heap leaching and may be the metal extraction.

I have seen many of this studies of modelling in differente journals but only show some equations and the final result in graphs but I will like to learn how to do it.

Some one can help me in this topic? May be teaching me how to do it step by step.

I really would apreciate those help.

Greeting

Jaime

Jaime see https://www.911metallurgist.com/blog/heap-leaching

I’m not sure I have anything at the introductory level that’s not already on-line (at least the abstracts of nearly every paper seems to show up in my searches). If you’re interested in some specific area of the technology, keep looking and you will find something. In the mean time, here are some links to published 101-level documents.

I understand there is a good intro to heap leaching in the latest edition of the SME Mining Engineering Handbook, written by Manning & Kappes. Though I’ve not read that myself.

The handbook Mineral Processing Plant Design also has a good introductory section on heap leaching by Dan Kappes, starting on page 1606 at the following link (there are other heap leach papers in this book as well).

And there’s another intro paper at the TechnoMine site, which may be most valuable for it’s references to some more detailed papers:
