Dear Collega,

How to manage Mercury in pregnant solution (0.02 ppm) which is became 400-500ppm in the filtered cake.It is problem with environtent.

any suggestion will highly apreciated

Does it pass TCLP test?

You can add sodium metabisulfite to for sulfide PPT that is stable under TCLP conditions.

What other elements are present in the cake and how much cake are we talking about?

We have a similar issue with high levels of Hg - but in the head feed (tailings) and need an effective method to remove the Hg as part of a cyanide process.  Head feed process is 10-15 tons x day.
