pH controlling unit for controlling equilibrium pH during stripping of D2EHPA (1 reply and 1 comment)

Dear all,

I have a loaded D2EHPA phase with Cu, Co and Li and want to selectively strip them by controlling the equilibrium pH (with H2SO4 mainly). I have some selectivity but I want to increase it by using multiple counter current stages in a mixer settler. Only thing that remains difficult is how to control the equilibrium pH. We only have pH meters and mixer settlers. So I was wondering if somebody here could advice me pH controlling unit that I could use for this. Would be ideal that there is a pH meter and an unit that controls the pump of a base or acid to control and keep the pH steady after each stage.

Can someone help me please?

Very big thanks in advance,

Nand

For small sale you can contact Omega and they will assist you - here is a link to one unit they offer:

Also Cole Parmer sells controls and pumps and they can provide a complete solution.
