In a review of an existing gold operation the PFD shows their SART circuit after the CIP and cyanide thickening circuits. As CNCu complexes are an issue can the SART circuit be placed after the leach circuit and before the CIP circuit?

not sure I understand, place the SART before the CIP? As SART is normally for a solution, not pulp. It could be a rather busy flowsheet.

Thanks David. I had assumed the output from the leach circuit was a solution in order to reduce introducing solids to the CIP circuit.

CIP = carbon in PULP
