I would like to separate zinc from manganese out of a 20%  sulfuric acid leach solution, any ideas?

You could look for a suitable ion exchange resin from the DOWEX family for instance. There should be one at least which is optimal for your application.

Thank you, I have been in contact with the Dowex people and as of yet I have only been sent from one person to another with no help. They have not got me in contact with an expert who would know one way or the other. But I have not given up.

Manganese and zinc are macro and micro-nutrients.
Add more zinc oxide to it, and it will become a fertilizer. No need to separate.

In this case the addition of zinc oxide will not work, I must separate the two.

Try 28% ammonia...sufficient to neutralize acid, precipitate Mn as an aqua hydrate & solubilize Zn as the tetraamine complex...
