Hello! Can anyone please explain to me why the presence of titanium is a challenge during the separation of rare earth elements by SX?

Is there more than one vendor/SX solutions provider saying titanium is an issue? Is it impacting recovery of all REEs or just some of them? I have not come across any literature saying this is a challenge. However, there is a new cleantech that may be able to separate and remove in solution titanium before the SX circuit if titanium is a SX game stopper.
