Hi , This is Raghuveer from DRC congo. I work for Copper processing plant, we are installing Co/Cu processing plant. I have a query on the rubber lining of stainless steel tank. Need tp select the rubber lining material on stainless steel tank of HBF launder agitator. The slurry characteristics are Density: 1.41 MT/M3,Moisture in Cake: 52%,Cake pH: 3.5,Particle Size of solids in Cake: Max. 80 micron. It is a launder for HBF cake, can you please suggest whether we go for Ebonite hard rubber lining with hardness of 75+/-5% or Butyl soft rubber lining of 65+/-5%

I think a good choice is ebonite hard rubber because of its good chemical and abrasion resistance. Also good ageing stability
