I would like to thanks for all members for technical support that they give to every question

I want to start a new Vant leaching plant with one leaching tank and have a barren tank of 2000 liter, i would like to to operate the process at 900ppm of cyanide solution.

what amount of NaCl would i need to add in 1500Liter of water so as to make 900ppm solution

Please  you can add clear conversion so that i can have enough detail on the topic.

Do you want to make a solution that is 900 ppm of CN- or a 900 ppm solution of NaCN?  I will demonstrate the first and convert to the second.

900 ppm is equal to 900 mg per liter - there are 1x10^6 mg in a liter.  This is the same as 900 g per m3 of solution.  If you have 1500 liters that is 1.5 m3 of water.

900 g per m3 x 1.5 m3 = 1350 grams of NaCN.

If you want 900 ppm of free CN- than it is 1350 grams of CN- or 1350/53.1% = 2542 g NaCN.

CN- is 53.1% of NaCN.
