G'day

does anyone have a test procedure they'd be wiling to share for intermittent bottle roll tests to model heap leach recovery performance?

Thanks

Thanks for the links jorge.
Im looking for a procedure for a specific type where you can utilize RC chips and have a P100 of <10mm. you roll the bottle for 1 minute every hour to for 5 days then replace the solution and roll for another 5 days to mimic heap leach recoveries. Im just unsure as to what percent solids and cyanide strengths to use.

hello Henley Munn,
Have you found a procedure like you mentioned?
can you send me?

If you want to perform a bottle roll test using coarse particles, you can follow the standard procedure. Initially, it is common to take PLS samples the first 12 hours. after that, you can increase the sampling interval. The dilution can 3/1 and the cyanide strength, 1 g/L. You can evaluate the same parameters (pH, particle size, cyanide strength) tested in a standard bottle roll test. In your case, you need a 20L bottle. Also, you can perform a standard bottle roll test to get some information on the cyanide strength and pH.
