Hi

Can someone help me with the calculations of magnetic separator capacities? The basic rules or formulas or any relationships which may affect the capacity? I found that Q=LvrfP but I think it may not be a good prediction of magnetic capacities.

I think the capacity comes with the Equipment design. To determine optimum capacity for Drum Magnets which process powders i recommend Drop Test Checks and collecting samples to analyse the Quality. Optimum capacity will be the one that will give you optimum recovery, optimum yield and optimum quality.
