Hi all, just a quick one. Say your operation had hypersaline process water with an SG of 1.1. When calibrating the Marcy scale for %solids determination, do you use fresh water with an sg close to 1, or the process water used during milling?

Thanks.

Fresh water at its densest (at 4 °C or 39.2 °F) alternatively at room temperature (20 °C or 68 °F). Nonetheless, the temperature and pressure must be specified for both the sample and the reference. Pressure is nearly always 1 atm (101.325 kPa).
