Melt Line Height in Aluminum Melting/ Re-cycling Reverberatory Furnace (No replies)

I am trying to find out the maximum melt line height which can be safely maintained in a rectangular reverberatory furnace fired on furnace oil. The furnace in question is having 10 tons holding capacity. Is there any relationship of tis factor with the height of the refractory bricks height of which the furnace is made?
