Does anyone have some typical annual consumption numbers for filter cloths?

I.e. tonnes of concentrate produced/square metres of cloth?

Since one of the key wear factors is how the scraping and air blow is handled, the hours of operation is the figure normally kept.  While the amount of material filtered is a factor, the amount of fines (going through the cloth) and the nature of the solids filtered (abrasive or not) can impact the numbers a lot.

Any number quoted is only good for one operation and set of conditions.

That said, depending on what you are filtering, a life of 1800 to 2000 hours would be a good starting point.
