How to calculate the process water and Hutch water for Iron ore processing on Jigs?
How water is redistributed in hutch and process water.
If there is any thumb rule to calculate hutch water for 4m and 2.5m jig area.
How much water is going out through product and how much water is going out through overflow?

The normal procedure is to start with the jig area required to handle your feed rate as adjusted for the split of material expected to the hutch and the overflow if all is working correctly. From this you calculate the amount of water needed based on the amount of fine and coarse material in volume/unit area to suspend the coarse fraction that reports to the overflow. From this you calculate the feed (process) volume to give about 30% by weight water, the rest going to the hutch.

More specific can only be given knowing the size distribution of the feed and the distribution to the hutch and overflow.
