Chord length method for ball charge estimation (1 reply)

Could you recommend a suitable calculation for ball mill charge volume using the chord length of the ball charge? We are currently using the calculation for distance between charge to top of mill. We would like to use the chord length method as well, and take the average of the two for our final charge volume result. There is a calculation for chord length that we have tried, but it is always quite lower than the other method, and so we do not use it.
