Been looking into the advantages of using Clutch driven mill over a gearbox driven mill. If there is someone with experience with both can help shed some light on both cases.

Depends on size of mill.  Once you get above about 100 t/hr the clutch (IMO) is a chancy way to go.  Once you get in the range of 7,500 t/hr, wrap around motor becomes feasible.
