We are to put in place a Ore intermediate storage before feeding the mill and have to select between mill Ore shed and a Silo. If there's anyone informed in both please assist.

Like so many choices it is primarily based on size (storage capacity). Silos work best when dealing with small volumes of easy to handle ore.  Above 10,000 tons storage a shed is more economical due to the increasing height required for a silo.  Below that a shed can have advantages when dealing with a varying storage requirement.

Sheds are generally lower cost as the footings are simpler.
