Hello to you; I'm working on optimizing the carbon concentration in CIL tanks, my question is: HOW CAN SAMPLING IN CIL TANKS, AND DETERMINE CONCENTRATION?

Most people simply take grab samples using a sampler that opens remotely with a handle (thief sampler).  If the tank is well mixed you can grab samples off the surface.  You pour that sample into a 2 liter graduated cylinder fill to mark.  Pour out over a suitable screen and capture carbon.  Dry and weight the carbon to determine how much you have in 2 liters.  You can also do it visually as carbon has an SG of about 0.5 so 1 liter of carbon weighs 500 grams...

There is "dip test" for determining how much carbon you have in tank. Method is how describe above by Todd H.
