i have a heap and i want to cyanide leach it for gold, i want to ask how long do you irrigate the heap before you send the pregnant solution for adsorption.

It's a dynamic or static heap?

The heap leaching works irrigating it with cianide solution. The solution flows through the heap and feed a pregnant solution tank than goes to adsoption on activate carbon. The solution after adsorption goes to a barren tank solution which will be corrected with new cianide to irrigate the heap again making a closed circuit. The Au grade will be checked on the botton of the heap every day till the ore exhaust. How long you'll irrigate the heap will depend on grainsize of the ore, nugget effect, Au grade, oxigenation of the heap and free cianide grade. I used to work with a heap that the leaching curve was 6 months. You may do some colums tests.
