Hi everyone,
I work in a gold mine and recently, we have started to add a new ore into our blend. As indicated in the testwork, this new ore lime demand is 15% higher than our usual ore blend. Our CIL circuit parameters are - 9.8pH, 250ppm (leach tank 1) and 100ppm (tails). To achieve 9.8pH, now we are adding more lime 15% more.
I checked the head assay of this new ore and one thing I found is very elevated level of Mg.
I was wondering if there is any way to reduce the lime consumption?
Thanks!!!
