Hi guys, so we are having issues with stibnite at our Biox section since it is exceeding the 3% which the bacteria can handle so now it'smore of a toxin. So we want to pretreat the ore before sending it to the Biox plant. The pretreatment was to be done through the leaching of antimony. As for hydrometallurgy we have two methods of leaching antimony one being that of Sodium sulfide in NaOH alkaline solution and the other one being that of acidic HCl and oxidizing agent like ferric chloride. So we have already done the one with sodium sulfide and now want to do the other one with Ferric chloride in acidic condition so that l get to compare which suits our system best. If there is someone who have done it before can you please assist me with the procedure or optimum operating conditions. Thank you.
