Hi Everyone

I am building a barrel agglomerator and would like to know the best point to introduce the water, options are at the feed chute (either under or on top of) or in a spray bar running the length of the barrel.

Any advice would be helpful

Thanks Andrew J

Spray bars above the chute 1/4 of volume, first half of agglomerate spray bar 1/2 of volume, last half of agglomerate 1/4 of volume.  Alternate switch chute and first half of barrel.  First addition is to start wetting, but you do not want it to wet or it will build up on chute.  The last half of barrel is to make sure everything is wet and could be eliminated if desired.

Put the water under the flowing material in the chute will lead to problems as the material starts building up on the water outlet.  This could plug the water outlet.
