Average diesel consumption per tonne or per mine (No replies)

Hello all,

I have a question that is more economic than technical, but still requires technical insight and some experience. I would just like to know, on average how much diesel is consumed in the operation of a mine, on average (say per tonne). I know this depends on the tonnage capacity of the mine, whether it is a surface mine or underground... type of mineral or metal being mined, etc etc.. but is there an average/ ballpark figure, say for a country like DRC? This is for a business plan for the supply of diesel to mines. I would just like to know how much diesel each mine is likely to demand. Or at least a range. I am an economist not a mining specialist, so hoping to get some help from mining specialists. Thank you in advance!
