Hello everyone

I did not expose the crushed ore by the action of dilute nitric acid to remove the base metals. I poured chlorinated water and subjected to high temperatures, filtered, added FeSO4. Powder settled at the bottom. What does it take to get elemental gold? Please answer.

After adding chlorine, it is necessary to precipitate the dissolved gold using a reducing agent such as bisulphite or ferrous sulphate. if we consider ferrous sulphate, the chemical reaction is,

3FeSO4.7H2O + AuCl3 = Fe2(SO4)3 + FeCl3 + Au + 7H2O
